Popshow turns ten years old!
Today marked the tenth birthday of Popshow. Still as shit as ever, it reins supreme as one of the worst nights in pop (aside from the Brit Awards). Now and then though you get really good acts somehow finding themselves under the charming spotlight of Madam Jojo's. Tonight we were treated to
Natisse: shit
Boy Banned: wonderful.
Woman E: terrible name. sort of okay.
A Girl Called Alice: terrible name. the next spice Girls.
Thundacub: seriously needs work
Ruby White: seriously needs work! the second track was terrible. but one of the highlights of the night.
The Scarletz: They were okay. But on the boring side of Okay. They seemed a bit "work experience".
Holah: reasonable. they've worked with Cathy Dennis and the blandness shows. This is nothing to be proud of kids.
Lola: yikes.
